Research Scientists must have big egos. They believe that their research can unlock nature's secrets, and then they can use that knowledge to "control" Nature. Farmers, aided and abetted by the U.S. Government, are using ever more powerful pesticides on our food supply.

So what happens?

The bugs mutate and get stronger. Now Get This! Since herbicides kill both weeds and plants, the farmer can't use them after the crop is planted. "Eureka!" say the Scientists! Lets genetically alter the crops to be immune to the herbicides.

So what happens?

The weeds (whose primary instinct is survival), steal the gene from the crop, and incorporate it into their own genetic makeup. It's called evolution!. Thus Scientist have created MONSTER WEEDS which cannot be killed with weed killing chemicals.

What we need is more geneticists opening more pandora's boxes.
