CYCLES of the BODY

Every 24 hours your body goes through three separate & distinct metabolic cycles:

1. Digestion: (between noon and 8:00PM)
2. Assimilation: (between 8:00PM and 4:00AM)
3. Detoxification: (between 4:00AM and noon)

Now here is how I visualize this: (I know it is much more complicated, but I like visuals)

At noon I can start munching. I try to stick to raw fruits and vegetables (not eaten together), and by 8:00 I have eaten my last bite, no fruit juices either after 8:00 PM. During this period these raw materials, mostly carbohydrates and sugars are being turned into glucose.

From 8 to 4 my liver is turning the glucose into glycogen: (stored in the liver and muscles.)

At around 0400 AM my body has finally managed to digest and then assimilate all the food that I stuffed myself with;{500 calories at a time MAX}, and I am horizontal, eyes closed, and finished with the digestive process. At this point in time my body has the most energy available to it in the whole 24 hour cycle, so it digs into the sewers and starts the detoxification process. This includes cleaning out waste products and toxins (not all waste products are toxic), rebuilding torn muscles, and replacing destroyed cells.

Now if I continue to fast (no food) until noon this process continues unabated, and is even assisted by exercise. Should I break my fast with break-fast (Champion or Egg McMuffin) innate intelligence will say (could it talk...) "hey guys, We just got a big problem here, everybody stop what they are doing and send all your energy to our stomach so we can process this JUNK FOOD he just swallowed."

Now the cleanup guys (who are not in charge, but like to complain anyway ) say: "Hey come on, we're not finished here, there is stuff laying all over. What are we going to do with it if we have to stop processing it?" and the answer comes back: "Ahhh store it as fat, that's the easiest thing to do with it; (requires the least energy)" ..""Oh and hurry up, here comes some more of that toxic coffee. We need all the water you can squeeze out of your cells to dilute it, and adrenal glands you fire up to speed up the metabolism so we can get rid of this poisonous liquid quicker."

(It's not good to stimulate / stress your adrenals, you will wear them out before their time.)

So why do you feel so good all morning long after a high protein meal?

STIMULATION

Concentrated proteins are stimulatory, and they cause the adrenaline to flow which causes the liver to put glucose in the bloodstream to handle the additional digestive load. The name for all of this is STRESS, and I suggest you don't need more of that. In addition the excess protein causes acid which is neutralized by ( you guessed it) calcium from your bones, muscles and organs. You don't need that either.

BREAKFAST: the most important meal of the day
(IF YOU EAT IT !)


The only people who think it is important are the breakfast food MANUFACTURERS. (Oh yes, let us not forget the cow owners, they have to sell their products too.) Slop bodily liquid from a really sick animal on that snip crinkle & poop. See milk (if you think you have the stomach for it).

So what do you put on your cereal?....are you ready for this?

To summarize: The biggest home run you can give your body is to leave off breakfast altogether. Give it a chance to clean up the mess you created in your stomach, and do essential maintenance. You don't have to change the oil in your car, but it will last longer if you do. It may seem impossible at first to get through the morning without your usual "fix" coffee, sugar, etc, so at first just eat fruit...ONLY fruit. Fruit requires a minimum amount of energy ? on your part to digest it, so it will interfere as little as possible with the detoxification and cleanup going on. After you have proved to yourself that you can survive without what you used to believe were essential nutrients, cut back on the fruit, and in the end you will find yourself looking up at the clock and saying: "It's already 11:30 and I'm not hungry. Your morning will be more productive, you will look and feel great, and you will be on your way to ABSOLUTE HEALTH.
