VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS People who take handfuls of synthetic nutritional supplements (like TV's Johnnie Carson) "stimulate" it ? (Another way to look at [stimulate] is "irritate", "pester", "annoy", "flog") .. Does that sound like something that is good to do TO your body? Dr. Joel Robbins states that inorganic (not from plants) minerals, consumed cost the body nutrients, including minerals to rid them from the body. An excess intake of inorganic mineral supplements can cause a deficiency of minerals due to the body's utilization of resident minerals in an attempt to metabolize and eliminate the inorganic and TOXIC mineral supplements. Another source of inorganic minerals is the consumption of any water but pure water. The body is not designed to take megadoses of synthetic vitamins either, regards them as toxins, and attempts to eliminate them as rapidly as possible. Thus they act like stimulants, hasten the ageing process, rob your body of energy, water, and provide expensive color to your urine. Both the recent Finland study published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Agnes Fay Morgan experiments at the University of California at Berkeley in the 1940s proved that taking synthetic vitamins (MOST VITAMINS ARE SYNTHETIC) is worse than starvation. The synthetic vitamins will kill you quicker than not taking them would. . In the Finnish study, there was a statistically significant loss of protection from lung cancer, stroke, and all other forms of death. There is often a direct link between synthetic vitamins and fibromyalgia . One doctor "cured" his patient of fibromyalgia by taking her off all artificial supplements. Of particular note, and one that many academic researchers fail to acknowledge, is that not all supplement products are created equal. In these AREDS studies, Centrum-style (poorly absorbed) supplements, which were taken by 2/3rds of the patients, had no significant beneficial effects on the health outcomes measured. In similar studies presented by other researchers from around the world, the data clearly supports the ideas that we've been advocating for many years now - that the specific product formulation DOES seem to matter - and matter in ways that can mean the difference between achieving the health benefits that you're looking for - or putting your health at risk in the form of an unproven product. Experts have linked oxidative stress to a number of major illnesses, including cancer and heart disease. Antioxidants such as vitamins C and E are thought to reduce levels of free radical activity. To test whether taking vitamin E supplements cuts oxidative stress, Dr. Emma A. Meagher, from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and colleagues gave 30 healthy men and women aged 18 to 60 either an inactive placebo or vitamin E in dosages that ranged from 200 to 2,000 international units (IU) per day. The investigators saw an increase in circulating vitamin E levels after 8 weeks in people taking the supplements compared with those taking the placebo. However, the level of oxidative damage, measured via chemicals released in the urine, remained nearly unchanged regardless of the varying doses of vitamin E taken. "In theory, we should have seen the amount of these chemicals drop over time, but they stayed roughly the same and compared similarly to the subjects in the placebo group," Dr. Tim Byers, a professor of preventative medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, told Reuters Health in an interview. Byers was not part of the study. The study is one of the first to look at the effect of vitamin E on oxidation in the body, Byers explained. "Previous studies relied more on test tube-like measurements. This study is good because it measures oxidative damage actually occurring within the living body," he said in an interview. "The information provided in this study along with the results of other lager studies add up and say to me that vitamin E does not result in favorable outcomes for reducing death rates, or rates of heart disease or stroke. Vitamin E is not really protecting against oxidative harm to (fats) as many researchers had thought it would," Byers said. And the results carry implications for other supplements, Byers pointed out. "There are many people taking lots of high doses of supplements on the promise that it might have some benefit. A pattern is beginning to develop as more research is done," Byers said. "Nutritional supplements do not appear to be as beneficial as previously thought. Whole food intake, on the other hand, does appear to be beneficial." The bottom line is that people should focus their energies on eating healthy, well-balanced meals, he added. Foods that contain vitamin E include nuts, vegetable oils, unprocessed cereal grains, fruits, vegetables and meat. They end up with a dehabilitating state of chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia. For the very sick or debilitated patient, anything synthetic or highly fractionated (multi-vitamins) becomes a toxin to the body. These people cannot tolerate synthetic vitamins. The load on their body is too great. The work involved in clearing these chemicals from the body is becomes a dehabilitating drain that strains the limited resources these patents still have. As these strains continue, the energy levels are reduced to near zero and the entire endocrine system (hormones, etc) is put out of balance. So beware of so-called vitamin "enriched" bread and other so-called "foods" . Actually, they are not FOOD; they processed most of the nutrition OUT; and since it is illegal to sell nothing, they are enriched with synthetic chemical vitamin look-a-likes. This is part of the deception. These are "Structure Function" claims. Any research they refer to is not done on their product, but on the natural components that they have then synthesized and included in their product.
THEY ARE CHEMICALS Although synthetic vitamins have the same molecular structure, they are a mirror image of the natural. A mirror image? This suggests that they are identical in every detail. But a mirror image is the exact opposite of the real thing, in this case the natural vitamins. Try to shake hands with yourself in the mirror. Everything is opposite. For example: You can't eat a bad diet and make up for it with some chemical formula in a pill. If you want B-12 eat Spirulina and / or Nutritional yeast.. Our vitamins need to be whole "food", natural biological complexes. They should not be isolated factors, either natural or chemical.
